Today we're taking a look at 'Ettore Sottsass 1955 - 1969' a major new exhibition of the early work of Ettore Sottsass.
It can be easy to forget that long before his radical anti-designs Sottsass was working on mid 20th century style pieces such the stunning 'Library' shown in the exhibition which he made for a director of Olivetti and THOSE rosewood tables & sideboards.
The exhibition is at New York's Friedman Benda Gallery and judging by the photographs we've seen it shows off one hell of a collection of ceramics, furniture, lighting and art by Sottsass as well as vintage photographs of the man himself at work.
It looks amazing...... anybody want to send us off to NY? ✈
